Professor Green puts his past in the picture

One of the most influential British artists of the last decade will be back on the road next year for a UK tour.

Professor Green will be on stage at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on Wednesday February 12, the tour was announced to concide with the release of his new single Photographs.

The multi-platinum-selling rapper’s new release features 2017’s biggest new star Rag’n’Bone Man and was produced by Fraser T Smith (Adele, Stormzy, Dave, Drake), and TMS (Jess Glynne, Ed Sheeran, Lily Allen).

The new song sees Professor Green reflecting on his past, he said: “Photographs conjure up so many different emotions, the ones I miss the most are the ones I never took.

“They are for me, in many ways, the memories I don’t have – especially the ones from my childhood. I wish I had more.”

Firmly established as one of the crossover superstars of British music, the Hackney born and raised rapper, Professor Green (aka Stephen Manderson), has notched up two Top 3 albums and over 3.5 million combined sales in the UK alone since starting out as a revered battle MC.

All in addition to presenting six critically acclaimed documentaries (for the BBC and Channel 4), publishing his autobiography ‘Lucky’, continuing his ongoing work as patron of anti-suicide charity CALM, and, most recently, becoming a regular columnist for newly launched men’s title, The Book of Man.
