American alternative group Silent Revival are including a Birmingham gig in their debut UK tour.
The LA band will be in the second city at the Hare & Hounds Venue 2 on Tuesday January 29 to promote their new single Just One Voice.
The song features on Spotify’s Femme Fatale playlist where it has already been streamed more than 200,000 times.
The new single sees frontwoman Sara Coda channel the energy of their American rock predecessors, Queens of The Stone Age and The Strokes.
Coda said: “This video, this song, and this experience are not about us as individuals, it’s about us as a group.
“The band, the outcasts, the viewer, and anyone else that wants to rise up to make the world a place that is worthy of our love.”
The single has recieved good reviews, the Miami New Times said: ‘Just One Voice’ begins with a swinging rockabilly rhythm that gives way to a hard-hitting, headbanging chorus.”
The Daily Californian added: “…unique and artful…vocalist Sara Coda, a pop emo goddess, belts her edgy lyrics in a rich, expressive voice that shakes the entire room.”
