Circa Waves have announced their 2019 UK headline tour which marks a return to the road for the indie rockers from Liverpool.
The tour will be promoting a new album, What’s It Like Over There?, which is set for release in April 2019.
The band’s frontman, Kieran Shudall, said“Our April 19 tour will include some of the biggest shows we have ever done.
“We will be putting on a show more epic and raucous than ever before, playing new songs from our brand album, We’re looking forward to you joining us!”
Recorded in just one month, and renewing the band’s co-producing relationship with Alan Moulder (Foals, The Killers), ‘What’s It Like Over There?’ aims to fuse the visceral thrill of rock music with a slick pop sound.
Circa Waves say their third album is another leap forward, another magical reconfiguration of their DNA, a union of emotional depth and intricate songcraft.
You can see if they are right when they play live at Birmingham’s O@ Academy on Tuesday April 23.
