BASE Studios is in the running for more accolades after nominations in the first-ever Black Country Music Awards.
The awards will be presented at a prestigious ceremony in Wolverhampton on June 21 after a panel of expert judges have delivered their verdict in a variety of categories.
Base has been shortlisted in the best studio/producer category while producer Simon Henley, who records and mixes artists including big names like Fuzzbox at Base, is also nominated in the same section.
It is not the first time Base has been in line for a gong, back in 2014 studio boss Warren Evans was at the Palace of Westminster to collect the Best Live Venue award Rock The House, an awards event with patrons including Alice Cooper, Bullet For My Valentine and and old friend of the Base, Rick Wakeman.
