IF 2109 is anything like 2018 for Giant and The Georges they will certainly have a happy new year.
The four-piece band from Brierley Hill and Stourbridge clocked up a number of successes over the last 12 months, including performances at high-profile shows in Birmingham alongside bands including Razorlight and Busted.
They finished the year with the release of their third single, Just Another Day, which came out on December 7 to good reviews.
Andrew Marston, from BBC Music Introducing, said: “If you’re a fan of rock and you don’t like the way they sound, there’s something wrong with you.”
Giant and The Georges have big plans for next year with a show at the Flapper in Birmingham on January 19 before starting work on a new EP.
They called at Base Studios for a chat about their story so far as well as what the future holds.
